Trysil – Norways largest skiing destination

Trysil is the largest skiing destination in Norway – and has been so for many years. Trysilfjellet has 500 snow cannons available, to ensure white slopes from the end of October until May 1st every year. The mountain has 31 skilifts, including six lifts for kids, that will comfortably bring you to the top of your favourite slopes. In Trysilfjellet you can choose from a variety of 68 attractive slopes – for any age, level of skill and interest. Trysilfjellet can also offer a total of approximately 500 km of tracks for cross country skiing-enthusiasts. The distance you choose to travel on your skiing journey, will be entirely up to you. If you are looking for an especially evocative experience, “kanefart” – horse sleigh ride in the evening, could be a perfect fit for you.

The kids area, Eventyr, in Trysil Turistsenter, is possibly the most popular kids area of any skiing destination in Norway. The area contains kids lifts, a conveyor-belt, a self-timer-slope, easy slopes suitable for kids and a fun slope dedicated for sledge riding.
